The deconstruction group has provided me with opportunities for personal growth, self discovery and intellectual exploration. This group has help me to examine and question long held religious Christian beliefs. I can finally ask questions and say thing without being judged.
After critically examining the Bible, I rejected Christianity’s falsehoods. Twenty-five wasted years of worshiping a god I no longer believe in. Rejecting hell lifted a heavy burden. Boldly asserting there is no god, I live freely, unencumbered by divine judgment.
I wasn’t drawn to religion like others, as I’ve always questioned its validity. While deconstructing wasn’t a significant process for me, I’ve been on a journey to find my personal truth. I found that community here and the value is more than I could have expected.
I was offered the opportunity to join this community In February 2024. I grabbed at this opportunity because I don’t know any other support communities like this in my area. I appreciate this community or better yet, this “family” that share the same views and who won’t ostracize me but would rather impart knowledge and offer encouragement.
