About Us
Organization Overview
The Society of Thinkers traces its roots back to the personal journey of its founder, Mark Daniel, who embarked on a profound quest for truth and liberation from cognitive dissonance. Mark’s transformative odyssey began during his tenure as a Senior Pastor, where he grappled with the contradictions of religious indoctrination for over five tumultuous years. In 2020, Mark made the courageous decision to resign from his pastoral role, marking the beginning of a new chapter in his quest for intellectual freedom.
For the next 18 months, Mark remained largely silent, wrestling with his inner turmoil and searching for clarity. However, in 2023, he broke his silence with a powerful statement on social media, sparking a ripple effect that would reverberate across continents. Despite facing backlash from his former religious community, Mark’s message of liberation through critical thinking resonated deeply with individuals seeking truth and empowerment.
As word spread, a diverse array of seekers began to gather around Mark’s teachings, drawn to the promise of freedom from mental bondage. Within a mere year, Mark’s unwavering dedication and relentless pursuit of truth ignited a global movement, transcending geographical boundaries and uniting people from all walks of life. With a steadfast focus on religious deconstruction and a growing community of former religionists, the Society of Thinkers has swiftly emerged as a beacon of unity, love, and inclusion in the world of religious exploration.
