Dr. Mark Daniel’s work increasingly centers on religious deconstruction, critical thinking, intellectual freedom, history and inherited systems of belief.
His decades inside ministry gave him direct experience of how identity, authority, community and belief can become deeply intertwined. His eventual departure from inherited religious certainty became part of a broader intellectual transformation that contributed to the formation of The Society of Thinkers.
No founder is intellectually infallible.
The Society is deliberately not built around the intellectual authority of one person. Its Charter places the founder under the same standards of evidence, reasoning and accountability applied to every leader and institution.
